An integrated approach, from diagnosis to the field
BIOMYR does not sell a standalone product: we work in line with each farm's technical pathway, in a documented way, adapted to its specific context.
Why an integrated approach?
Agriculture faces constraints specific to each territory: dependence on imported inputs, high pest and fungal pressure under a tropical climate, limited land, and the need to preserve fragile ecosystems. A biosolution alone, however effective, is not enough to address these challenges.
BIOMYR was founded in late 2024 in Sainte-Suzanne around one conviction: biopolymers, a renewable and biodegradable resource, can be at the heart of more sustainable, more self-sufficient agriculture — provided they are embedded in a rigorous agronomic approach, from field diagnosis through to on-site follow-up.
Three steps, for an optimal approach
1. Diagnose
Digital agronomy establishes an objective picture of the field: soil and climate context, disease pressure, current practices.
2. Act
VÉYÈR, chitosan made from biopolymers, is integrated into the technical pathway to stimulate crops' natural defenses and help curb certain pests, in both organic and conventional farming.
3. Structure & secure
Engineering & studies build and document the project over time: technical and financial studies, R&D — for well-founded decisions, at the scale of a single field or an entire territory.
What guides our work
Rooted in Réunion Island
A company born in Réunion Island, designing its biosolutions close to the land and the realities of local growers.
Proven in the field
Every intervention is backed by trials monitored under real production conditions, together with growers.
Regulatory rigor
VÉYÈR is a basic substance under Regulation (EC) 1107/2009: our practices respect this framework.
